Getting here
By train. Cronulla station is the terminus of the T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra line, and 13 Cronulla Street is a short walk from the platform. For patients coming from Woolooware, Caringbah, Miranda or further up the line, the train is often the simplest option.
By ferry. The Cronulla to Bundeena ferry runs from Cronulla wharf, a short walk away, which makes appointments practical for Bundeena and Maianbar residents around the timetable.
By car. We are in the Cronulla Street precinct in the centre of town. From Caringbah South, Burraneer and Greenhills Beach the drive is a matter of minutes. Kurnell and Taren Point patients are also close by.
Booking an appointment
Online. Book at a time that suits you, at any hour.
By phone. Call (02) 8599 9815 and our reception team can help with timing, or talk through what a particular appointment involves if you are unsure what to book.
By email. Send us a message at reception@thecronulladentists.com.au and we will get back to you.
If you are anxious about dental visits, please mention it when you book. We schedule those appointments differently, and there is more detail on our dental anxiety page.
New patients
You are welcome. A first visit typically includes an examination, X-rays where clinically indicated, a professional clean and a conversation about what we have found.
It helps if you can bring:
- Your Medicare card
- Your private health fund card, if you have cover
- A list of any medications you take and any relevant medical conditions
- Details of your previous dentist, if you would like your records transferred
- Your child’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule details, if applicable
Please arrive a few minutes early for your first appointment so we can complete your medical history without cutting into your treatment time.
If you need to reschedule
Please give us as much notice as you can, ideally at least 24 hours. Appointments are booked as a block of time reserved for you, and late notice usually means that time cannot be offered to someone else who needs it.
If you are running late on the day, call us rather than assuming the appointment is lost. Depending on what is booked and what is behind us, we can often still see you, or we can shorten the appointment and finish at another visit.
Payment and health funds
We accept cash, EFTPOS and all major credit cards.
We are an nib preferred provider, and we use HICAPS so you can claim on the spot with any fund and pay only the gap.
Payment plans are available through DentiCare. More detail is on our finances page.
We will get back to you
